FOIL STAMPING is a type of dry printing which uses metallic foil in place of ink. Foil stamping may be used alone, but also works beautifully with letterpress, embossing and debossing.
EMBOSSING & DEBOSSING are techniques for creating three-dimensional impressions, either raised above the paper’s surface (embossing) or recessed into it (debossing). Embossing and debossing can be used with ink printing, foil stamping, or alone (called a blind emboss/deboss).
DIE CUTTING makes it possible to cut paper into virtually any shape or design. Die cutting is perfect for creating cut-out designs, adding unique borders to invitations, or creating a custom-shaped coaster.
